I grew up in America's Dairyland, Wisconsin, specifically the capital city of Madison. As a child my father supplied me with everything I could ever possibly need to satisfy my creative impulses. I painted, I drew, I crafted, and I experimented with all types of media. As the years passed by, I continued to be intrigued and talented in the area of art.
As I progressed through high school, I realized I wanted my career to be art related. I was accepted to Madison Area Technical College's Commercial Art program, which was ranked 4 th in the nation, and completed two years of extensive technical training before receiving an Associate's Degree.
Since graduating in 1982, I worked for several years as a free lance artist, production artist, and managed a printing company, before opening my own design studio, LJ Designs, in 1990.
Then in 1994 I was introduced to street painting and I immediately fell in love with this centuries old art form. I have been street painting throughout Central Florida and in festivals all across the country ever since.
